Celery Sound Records – Re-Introducing Paul Dooley’s 1961 album “Booked Solid!”

Legendary actor Paul Dooley (Sixteen Candles, Breaking Away, Popeye) released the album Booked Solid! in 1961, and it hasn’t been re-released until today.

With cover art and audio restored by master archivist Taylor Jessen (archivist for The Firesign Theatre), Dooley’s only stand-up album, featuring his “reading” from classic “books” like The Subway Rule Book and Thermodynamics for Swinging Lovers, is Celery Sound’s first stand-up release, and we couldn’t be prouder.

A physical release is also planned, but we wanted you to have access to the digital version as soon as possible.

Celery Sounds’ first official release is Shoestrings: 16th Anniversary, which you can find out about about clicking on those words.  I am also incredibly excited for Celery Sound to be the home of <a href="http://www.stolendress.com/cele
